Kate Ryan is a circus artist, comedian, entertainer and entrepreneur from Canada, celebrated for her signature fusion of high-level circus artistry and razor-sharp comedic storytelling. Her signature style blends stand-up comedy with high-level circus - Cirque du Soleil meets Just for Laughs - delivered through world-class hula hoops, juggling, face balancing, and physical comedy. Her client resume includes representation of Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Dreams, MSC Cruises, Princess Cruises (Don Casino Agency), and clientele such as Party like Gatsby Speakeasy EU, Cartoon Network: resident artist and Adelaide Fringe Inc.

 

Kate’s work as an artist, entrepreneur, and humanitarian has been showcased in 40+ countries across six continents - including Antarctica.

 

Her work continues to redefine what modern circus can be: bold, hilarious, and deeply human.

 

Her Comedy Circus Show is a hilarious and entertaining experience that combines physical comedy, skilled circus disciplines, and witty humor. As a seasoned comedian and performer, Kate takes the audience on a wild ride of laughter and amusement through a variety of acts, showcasing her incredible talent as a comedian, acrobat, and circus performer. From circus hoops to juggling, acrobatics to quick changes, and clowning, Kate delivers a range of captivating performances with impeccable timing and charismatic stage presence. Suitable for all ages, this one-of-a-kind show promises to leave everyone with a smile on their face and memories that will last a lifetime.

Kate is the Canadian Director of the social circus NGO, Spark Circus and, the first Canadian Ambassador to Hoopologie, the world's most revolutionary hula hoop company. Her work as an entertainer and humanitarian (Spark Circus) has been featured in magazines such as L'oreal Vietnam.

In 2021, her digital adaptation to the circus arts industry and her work as a Director, Producer, Editor, and Artist in TEN, was recognized by the Montreal Independent Film Festival and won “Audience Choice: Feature Film” at the Circus International Film Festival.

In addition to performing, Kate produces, directs and tours numerous shows and artists across the country for her company, The Little Bed Ball Company.
